I feel the need to add to my rant on witchfinder
program on BBC. I pointed out that it was age inappropriate considering all
Hopkins victims were elders. Since then I have seen another clip of the
so-called comedy (personally I see that there is no comedy in a gynocide
holocaust of widows). Anyway, all the clips of the witch/victim have given the
impression of an assertive woman verbally and physically. This is the
seventeenth century when a wife was legally caned. Then there was the scold,s
bridle which was described by Antonia Fraser the historian as a torture device
which could permanently damage the woman,s tongue i.e the articulate /mouthy
woman lost the power of speech. Then there was the ducking stool which was
aimed more at fish women in the marketplace rather than a nagging wife. The
fish wife were loud to sell their fish which offended customers and led to the
trader getting a ducking in the local lake. It was done more to punish than
kill with a clear message that women are there to be seen not heard. Don’t nag
and don’t raise your voice in public
