ENTITLED

Stepdad is entitled, he is entitled to his holidays, he is entitled to mentally abuse both of us, he is entitled to lie in bed all day while we do all the work including putting out rubbish. His entitlement comes from his mother who over fed him. He stuffed his face all day as though he was entitled to do so. He was spoilt more than his sister who was never fat. When he walked out on his daughter he thought he had a right to do so because his wife didn’t spoil him. He is entitled to get back at us as we are leaving him. We are not entitled to leave a git who has ruined our lives with mental torture. I often wondered what made him so vengeful. It was his sense of entitlement. I took revenge against bullies to defend myself. He does because he can no longer get what he is entitled to. Entitlement is at the base of narcissistic ego. They are selfish and grandiose simply as they are so so special that they are entitled to get what they want and lord it over us. Entitlement is at the root of narcissistic evil.
